Strange but true. Mosquitoes are more likely to bite you if you are of the O blood type.
A study published in the the Journal of Medical Entomology show that mosquitoes are more attracted to people with O blood type than people with other blood types. In fact mosquitoes were twice more likely to land on people with the O blood type than people with the A blood type.
You may not be able to change your blood type but you can use mosquito repellent creams when necessary. They are effective for 5 hours and safe to use in infants who are 2 months and older at lower concentrations.
